Newsflash is a product of students from the University of Missouri. Three CS/IT students and one Journalism student collaborated to create Newsflash for the Donald W. Reynolds Journalism Institute's 2008-2009 iPhone Competition. AT&T and Apple partnered with MU to sponsor this competition.
